And the timing couldn’t be better. The resurgence of interest in British watchmaking has been palpable, culminating in the inaugural British Watchmakers’ Day earlier this year. Celebrating the craftsmanship, innovation, and heritage of British watchmakers, the event shone a spotlight on brands including Duckworth Prestex, that blend tradition with contemporary excellence.

Straps for the Duckworth Prestex Verimatic
With its 39mm cushion-shaped case in brushed and polished finishes, and stunning textured fumé dial, the Verimatic is a refined watch that suits any wrist size. The Arabic numerals and railroad minute track give the watch a classical feel whilst its proportions are distinctly modern. Inside the watch, a Japanese Miyota 9039 automatic movement provides precision and reliability.
Thanks to Neil Duckworth, we’ve had some hands-on time with the Black Dial Verimatic this week. Duckworth Prestex offer the watch with a choice of four great straps: black leather, orange rubber, light brown suede, and Milanese Mesh. However, the Verimatic is so versatile, there really are infinite styling options! We’ve picked out a trio of our favourite LBS straps to wear with the Verimatic to give it a different look.

Best Affordable Strap
Finally, an impressively affordable option. From our popular range of Nylon Military Straps, our MOD22 Strap in Black with Yellow and White Stripes, complements the black fumé dial of the Verimatic to perfection. Colour-matched to the dial, the two white stripes pick out the BGW9 lume on the hands and Arabic figures whilst the central yellow stripe accentuates the gold tone hands.
